Chuck Henry is the Information Technology Coordinator for the Northern New York Library Network. Although Chuck has been a professional in the field of information technology for nearly two decades his interest in computer related hardware and software began much earlier with his family’s Commodore 64. He learned to navigate programming languages while in high school and college and continues today to be a regular and early adopter of technology. Chuck enjoys using technology as both a personal and professional tool and maintains a rich understanding of the fields of educational technology; Linux based systems, Drupal and other Open Source projects.

Chuck graduated in 2003 with a Master of Science Degree in Instructional Technology and Media Management from the State University of New York College at Potsdam. He is a trained and certified educator in the State of New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. He has taught in a variety of settings including a 4th grade classroom, a vocational campus, and even night classes of adult learners. Chuck routinely provides professional development and software training to librarians in the North Country region. He believes strongly that good technology should not equal bad privacy.
